Digital illustration created in a vintage style w/watercolor texture. This lovingly illustrated map depicts the current 21st century streets and roads, but in a distinctly old-world style reminiscent of antique maps. It is a new map... with an old soul.
 
Details include street names, labels for land masses and rivers, the outline of the original walled city, depth markings and the longitude/latitude . The corners are accented with wild rice and a fishing net. I also included several  whimsical elements like the playful dolphin and compass rose, the classic Brigg ship,and watchful heron.

The large 36 x 24 size makes a dynamic addition to any room.
